AM/INT'L CH SIDIBOARANI'S BEAT THE DRUM   "DRUMME"dob1/6/1997
In the fall of 1998,  George decided to make a move to California, and Drumme came to Florida to live for the winter, which is how this all began! George had a short lived move to CA, and the following November, when Drumme once again headed south for the winter, Ginny decided to try showing him, acting on the advice of professional handler, Matthew Downing. With Matt as his handler, Drumme finished in record time - in 3 weekends of showing, with two 4 pt. and one 3 pt. Majors! With very limited showing, he has also earned multiple Best of Breed wins, including a BOB win as he earned his International Champion title in October 2001.   Drumme is now retired and enjoys life exploring the woods on our property, going for hikes in the national forest nearby and being a couch potato the rest of the time!  He's not much of a squirrel chaser...but at the tender age of 11, still makes his presence felt here!!  As my father used to say....'there may be snow on the roof...but there's still a fire in the furnace!!!"

   CH KENGALI'S SHOCK 'N AWE STORM - "DERBA"  dob 3/3/02
    Derba lives with and is co-owned by our very good friends, Jen and Neal Skula of Pt. Jefferson, NY.  He's a   wonderful big guy who has helped raise 5 Skula kids, as well as their many friends! .  Derba is a littermate to Maruba, sired by CH Timber Ayeraye Timber and his dam is Crestridge Foolish Pleasure.  Now that he is finished, he's living the good life at home with his family!!

   INT'L CH KENGALI'S RENEGADE REBEL, SC - "STRIDER" dob 4/7/05
    Strider is our son of Kariba and MBIS BISS AU/AM CH Camelot's Code Red, Mojave.  Strider is such a love! He has the absolute best temperment you could ever ask for in a dog!  He's happy, energetic, cuddlely, adventurous...whatever I do..he wants to be right there doing it, too.  He LOVES Agility and "chasing the bunny", so we're sure to have a lot of fun with him in the years to come.

INT'L CH CRESTRIDGE WATCH MY JEWELS - "BARAKA"  dob 6/7/05
Baraka is another of our big red boys, and is another of our consummate squirrel chasers!  He was bred by and is co-owned with Mimi Hershkowitz of Crestridge Rhodesians.  Baraka has a super personality, thinks he's a 100lb lap dog and is a real joy!  His sire is CH Illimani Kickstartmyheart - "CAM" and his dam is Crestridge Foolish Pleasure - "SKYLAR".  FLASH!  After a rough first year of his life, Baraka has made a wonderful comeback and wowwed the judges in his first shows ever!  Watch for him this year as he continues with his show career!!

CH KENGALI'S SOUTHERN OUTLAW - "HUNTER"  dob 4/7/05
Hunter is our second boy from our Kariba and Mojave litter and is co-owned and loved by his dad, Ed Wolanin, in Clearwater.  Hunter is the perfect example of type and substance, topped off by an outstanding temperment and personality!  Hunter finished easily with Jeannie Armstrong's awesome handling!

INT'L CH MALABO APD SHAKARI DE KENGALI - "RIO" dob 1/10/06
 Rio is our new addition to the family, coming to us all the way from Brazil!  His dam, BZ CH Jakona's Charmed One - "Charm" is a Drumme daughter bred by Jeannie Armstrong a few years back.  His sire, AM/BZ CH Nashira's Katano of Ridgeville - "Katano", was bred here in the States and is now owned by Ana Paola Diniz in Sao Paolo.  He is the top winning Ridgeback in Brazil and is a tribute to his owner and breeder!  This was an exceptional litter and we're very happy to have Rio join the Kengali gang!  He is co-owned and lives with our friends, Heather and Wade Muzzey, in Plant City, FL.  Watch for him on the show circuit later this spring!!

INT'L CH KENGALI'S SOUTHERN COMFORT HBR, HRQ3,HRQ4
 "DUKE"    dob 10/11/05

Duke is our big, happy-go-lucky livernose boy.  He is sired by CH Illimani Kickstartmyheart FM, "CAM" and his dam is our beautiful girl, Indy. Duke has quickly become a very multi talented dog and is doing well in the show ring and in the field!  He is learning to hunt and herd and will soon be seen out coursing.  Duke is co-owned with and lives with our friends, Shannon and Kim Green, in Plant City, FL
Duke has the honor of being one of the first Ridgebacks in the US and THE first in the state of Florida to earn his Hunting Ridgeback qualifier for medium and large game!   Additionally, he has been certified in Game Recovery tracking.  He is currentl working on his HRQ 1 and 2 for birds and small game, after which he'll have his Junior Hunting Ridgeback (JHR) title.   For more information on the Ridgeback Hunting Instinct tests, please visit the Hunting Ridgeback Association website!

SIDIBOARANI'S WHISTLIN' DIXIE, JC - "DIXIE" dob 1/6/1997
Dixie is Drumme's litter mate and is my dearest, sweetest girl. She was one of our Lure Coursing fools and still goes nuts at the words - "Let's go get the bunny!"  She is a very sweet natured dog, loves to welcome visitors and to play grandma ..and now GREAT GRANDMA!..when we have puppies under feet.  At 11, she is a little bit slower these days, but still gets right out there for the morning squirrel chase....and the mid day chase....and the late afternoon chase....I think you get the picture!!  She rules the roost and is the grand matriarch of our family!

CH CRESTRIDGE SAVANNAH SUNRISE, SC  "SAVANNAH"        dob 6/26/1999
Savannah is also one of our Lure Coursing fools, and now competes as a veteran.  Like her name, she has a very sunny personality and is very willing to do anything you ask of her. Savannah is by CH Royalton's Nobel Prize, out of Ocala's Seba Star of Cherokee.  Savanny is now retired from breeding and spends endless hours each day chasing squirrels and being one of the couch potatoes!

INT'L CH KENGALI'S SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE    "INDY"      dob 12/16/2001
Indy is our lovely light wheaten daughter of Dixie, sired by CH Crestridge FMS Flagship, "Triton".  True to her name, she has a very loving, but independent nature.   Indy loves nothing more than to get out and explore the countryside or to get to go for a ride in the truck.  She is a consummate squirrel hunter, spending endless hours each day with her neck tilted back, eyes in the trees!  She prefers the real thing, tho, and has NO interest at all in lure coursing!rel!  She attained her Int'l Champion title in May 2005.

CRESTRIDGE KENGALI'S PARTYGAL JC - "ZOE ALEXANDRA" dob 10/9/2000
Zoe is our lovely daughter of Corey,  BIS/BISS CH Filmaker's Never Surrender FM, JC, who has the distinction of being the top winning Ridgeback in the history of the breed, and her mother, CH Filmaker's Stormy Legacy won the Sweepstakes at her National Specialty. She also has joined the ranks as one of our Lure Coursing divas and earned her JC title within a month of turning a  year old.  Nowadays she's much happier romping around our property, also wreaking havoc on the local squirrel population and getting her own time in as a couch potato.  She is the love of my life and has the most wonderful "puppy sighs" you could ever imagine!!

AM/INT'L CH CRESTRIDGE KENGALI'S BLONDE AMBITION  "KARIBA"   dob 6/9/02
Kariba joined the Kengali gang in September 2002 and is such a  joy!  She's a BLONDIE - very light wheaten in color and is truly an eye-catcher!  She is by CH Crestridge FMS Flagship, "Triton" and out of CH Taijin's Nandie Teaka Kon, "Nandie."  Kariba finished her championship in December 2004 under the expert handling of Frank Murphy.  She is now very happy to be a "stay at home" girl, where she spends ENDLESS hours terrorizing the local squirrel population.  'Course they do a pretty good job of harassing the heck out of the dogs, too!!

KENGALI'S HEAVEN IN YOUR EYE - "SARABI"  dob 6/6/02
Sarabi is a beautiful dark red wheaten girl who prefers to stay at home and lounge on the sofa all day.  She enjoys going for hikes in the woods, but is not a hunter like the rest of the gang!!  She has a sweet and loving personality and thinks everyone should be her new best friend!  Her parents are Scarlett - Outlaw Scarlett O'Hara and Triton - CH Crestridge FMS Flagship.

Maruba is a beautiful red wheaten girl that George bred in NY.  Her dam is Crestridge Foolish Pleasure and sire is CH Ayeraye Timber Ayeraye, a son of MBIS BISS CH Kimani's Blue Chip Image.  Maruba has the sweetest, sweetest personality you could ever imagine!  Just imagine the ultimate 85lb lap dog, who lays her head on your shoulder and melts!  That's Maruba!!  She lives to please and be loved on.  Did I mention she's the sweetest girl, EVER??!

Paris is our Drumme/Maruba daughter...and the apple sure didn't fall far from the tree! She is a chip off the old blocks and got the best from both of her parents.  She is full of mischief, fast as a speeding bullet and the very best of snugglers.   She made her lure coursing debut on February 11, 2006 and has now joined the ranks of the coursing fools here!!  YIPPEE!!  We have another fabulous bunny chaser!

And then there's LIBBY LIBBY LIBBY!!!  Libby is our first Liver nose, and a beautiful girl she is!  She's our Indy daughter by Drumme and is a chip off the old block, too!  NOTHING fazes her - she's bold as brass tacks, just like her father.  Now that she has her conformation title...it's off to chasin' the bunny!  On February 11, 2006 she was entered in her first coursing event and FLEW around the course, having a grand ole' time!!  Libs is a "hugger" - she routinely greets visitors with a hugs and her little "nibble" kisses - what a character!!  Libby also loves to spend endless hours chasing squirrels or going on our walks in the forest.

Sachi is our Kariba daughter by Cam - CH Illimani Kickstartmyheart FM.  Sachi is a big, beautiful girl, very elegant and strong.  She is totally a mommy's girl, tho, and is a huge snuggle bunny!  But as sweet as she is....watch her out hunting, and she's all power and grace!!   Sachi will continue her show career as a Specials in 2008!

Irie is a gorgeous livernose girl out of our Libby girl and her sire is Cam, CH Illimani's Kickstartmyheart, FM.  Like her mom, Irie is full of mischief and an ultimate escape artist.  She and Tia keep me on my toes, as they test my limits daily with their escapades!!   Irie will begin her show career this spring and we have great expectation for her, too!!

KENGALI'S PRICELESS TREASURE  "TIA DALMA"  dob 10/9/06
Tia is our other Kariba daughter, sired by "Skipper", CH Westwood's Captain in Command.  She is a blondie like her mom - a lovely light wheaten color.  Tia is a bold adventurer....who had her first escapade at 4 mos. when she followed one of the others to our neighbor place for the snacks Ms. Betty feeds her own critters!  If I ever get an ulcer, it will be due to Tia's antics!!!  She is a HOOT!!  Fearless!  Tireless! SMART!  TOO SMART!!  To top it all off, she's a real beauty who floats effortlessly across the pasture and makes my heart stand still!  Truly, a priceless treasure!!  Heartfelt thanks to John and Mary Bernie for allowing us to use their boy, Skipper, for stud!
